A Boy and His Gourd

Kevin's mom, Fern,  sent us this picture of his dad, Jack, with a ginormous gourd he grew.

Doesn't he look like a proud papa?  It reminds me of an I Love Lucy episode where Lucy tried to smuggle a salami from Italy into the U.S. by pretending it was her baby, just swaddled and sleeping in a blanket during the entire plane ride.

I wonder if Jack gave his gourd a name.
