The Socrates Cafe at work is a go: meetings are scheduled at the Library on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:45 pm. The first meeting is April 26th. I know most of you, dear readers, are decidedly not local, but you are all cordially invited to attend any Cafe meeting:
What: Socrates Cafe meeting
Where: The Boonton Holmes Public Library, 621 Main St., Boonton, NJ, 973-334-2980. Directions here. Info on the Cafe meetings should appear on the Library's website soon, so you can always check there to see what's what. I know there are a coupla Wednesdays where I'll be unavailable. It'll be early into the program and there may not be anyone else to facilitate yet. So we might not meet on those Wednesdays. That's the kinda stuff that will be on the website.
When: Wednesday evenings from 7:00 - 8:45 pm.
What Else: No prior exposure to philosophy required. Light refreshments will be served.
I may end up changing the meeting ending time to 8:30. The Library closes at 9:00 that day and I don't want to hold up the rest of the staff if it takes longer than 15 minutes to wrap things up, tidy up, etc. I'll let y'all know how it goes.
