Friday Cat Blogging: Jingle Cats

We took Miles & Lizzie to Petco to have their picture taken with Santa.  We drove there, of course, but when not in the car Miles & Lizzie were stylin' in their pet stroller.  This picture is from a few months earlier so you can see more of the stroller.

With the door open bc it's time to come out and meet Santa!

We sent the picture to Kevin's parents bc they have Misty, the kits' mom, and cared for all of them until the kits came home w/us.  I forgot to scan their picture w/Santa and an elf so, unfortunately, I cannot show you that.  I was a leetle disappointed bc I thought there might be an actual photographer or someone close to being an actual photographer there, but it was a store employee who took the pictures with a digital camera like any schlub (e.g., me) can do.

Miles did fairly well, being the feline equivalent of Jeff Spicoli.  Lizzie was very nervous, quivering as she was held, but she did much better than I thought she would.  I was worried she'd freak out entirely and give way to scratching, wriggling out of arms, urinating bco nervousness....  We had lovely jingle collars from last year, but I couldn't find them, so we bought these green jingle collars at the store.  I don't think they're as flattering or as noticeable as the others.  I'm already thinking of little Santa hats for next year.  Miles would be okay w/an outfit, but I don't think Lizzie would, unless she were simply paralyzed with fear and shame.  They both wore Webkinz clothes when they were smaller, but they've outgrown those.  Hmm.  I think it will have to be hats next year.
