Friday Cat Blogging: All Tucked In
Miles is so incredibly cute, it ought to be illegal. There's at least something morally wrong about it, even if it's technically legal. He likes to snuggle himself into the covers. During the day he'll worm his way under the covers. Here he is a few months ago having made a sausage of himself in the blankets.
Here he is today! (Yes, I have changed the sheets in the meantime, btw.) He looks like he tucked himself in to go night-night. You have no idea how happy it makes me to see him sleeping so cutely like this. I would totally tuck the kitties in if they'd just let me simultaneously anthropomorphize and infantalize them...and here's a kitty who tucks himself in!
He's lucky he's so cute. He wakes me up in the middle of most every night, either by pawing at the covers by my neck or putting his adorable, moist little nose against my face. I lift the covers and he snuggles under the covers and up against me. I can hear and, better still, feel his little purr. A cat purr is the best nature sound ever; it's nearly impossible to stay awake in the face of a purring cat.
Very cute. I detest those wet cat noses being rubbed on my person. You are right. It's a good thing they are irresistible.

Miles is a major league lovebug/mushball. I am slowly but surely turning him into a momma's boy. I lost The Original Momma's Boy a few years ago to cancer: the mostly white with a little orange tabby Archie. I am a sucker for orange cats.
