Friday Cat Blogging: Tucker & Amber, Guest Cats

Recently I had the pleasure of caring for a whole mess of cats...and I'm not talking about my six kittehs.  A fellow client of our vet was going on vacation so I went over to feed, scoop, water, clean, etc. while she was gone.  She has 7 cats and they're all rescues.  Most of them are not used to interacting with people so I didn't get to do much with them.  Right now she has an additional 2 cats: sadly, her sister died and so she took in her cats, Tucker & Amber.

They were a little standoffish at first, but once you got to petting them they couldn't get enough love!  Her sister must have given these cats so much love and affection.  This is Tucker, a handsome tuxedo.

 

And this is the aptly named Amber, still in her cage when I first went to care for them.  Look at that gorgeous coat!

 

Tucker went behind a lamp on a coffee table in the corner of the room when I first went there.  Both cats let me pick them right up out of their hidey holes...and then it was all over.  I brought Kevin over to meet them bc such beautiful, lovable cats should not be kept to one's self, but rather shared with the world.  I'll end with this picture of Kevin, Tucker & Amber enjoying each other's company.
